Summary/Objective
The Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM) is a CHAMPION of the PEOPLE.  These champions laser in on building the team members into Guest Service Superstars who want to become Champions in their job. The ARM supports the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in managing the daily operations of a single restaurant, training, performance, and profitability. At the store level, the ARM operates under the direction of the RGM and directly manages a team of Hourly Shift Leads and Team Members (20-45 employees).

Preferred:

• 1 year of experience in a large volume fast food establishment preferred and at least 18 years of age.

Required:

• Demonstrates ability to lead in a fast-paced and changing environment and demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize own and others` work and time to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Flexible availability to work-days, mid-days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, due to the business needs of the restaurant.

Profitability

• As a Champion, manages and controls inventory by performing Daily, Weekly and Monthly inventory inspections.
• Places and receives inventory truck orders.
• Maintains and regularly monitors a list of all restaurant assets.
• Ensures preventative maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment is completed in accordance with Company standards, interacting with external vendors as required.
• Ensures that the restaurant follows all cash control and security procedures (e.g., safe counting, cash drawers).

Guest

• As a Champion, motivates and directs team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast and friendly service in a clean facility.

People

• As a Champion, provides coaching and feedback to Shifts Leads and Team Members to increase the restaurant team`s capabilities and raise restaurant performance operations.

Operations

• As a Champion, directs efficiency of preparation, efficiency, and prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines.
• Ensures that restaurant upholds operational and brand standards. 

*Performs duties of Hourly Shift Lead or Team Member when necessary

Work Environment

This job`s duties are performed in a high volume, fast-paced environment while performing for or working directly with the public.  This role routinely uses standard restaurant equipment that include, but is not limited to, point of sale registers, headsets, beverage equipment, coolers, deep-fat fryers, and hot holding units. 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires the use of hands to grasp, touch, and move objects. This position also requires standing, walking, bending, reaching above the shoulders with arms, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours

This position regularly requires long hours on your feet, as well as, nights, weekends, and holidays.
