1 – Full-Time
Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:
Two years of Medical office and/or insurance experience preferred.
Medical Practice Management System experience preferred.
Advanced computer and data entry skills.
Knowledgeable in medical terminology.
Prior collection experience preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Bilingual Spanish preferred.Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:
Provide enrollment assistance for uninsured children and adult patients/residents of the service area to access subsidized, low cost, and free health insurance programs through the health insurance marketplace and Medicaid.
Provide structured patient education on health insurance coverage, engage in follow up conversations, and offer renewal assistance for enrolled individuals.
Attend and successfully complete all required training programs, including off-site conferences, webinars, conference calls, and other professional development opportunities.
Access Practice Management System to provide financial information to patients on current and past charges.
Reconcile all charges/deposits and adjustments to the daily deposit.
Review and update financial information for new and established patients for slide discount.
