Marketing & Special Events Coordinator

1 – Full-time

Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience. Marketing experience required.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow-up skills
  • Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
  • Ability to learn other software programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:

  • Develops, implements, and monitors for effectiveness an annual marketing plan for SCHC brand and promote organization both internally and within the SCHC service area.
  • Creates marketing materials for SCHC.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of fundraising events.
  • Responsible for the management of all social media, website, digital sign, emails, newsletters, community presentations, community outreach events, and updating the client information in the fundraising database.
  • These functions are not all inclusive
