Incumbents in this position are responsible for performing client care, public health education, immunizations, health-related investigations and occupational nursing in order to promote community wellness. Floyd Valley Healthcare has a full-time opportunity in our Community Health Department for a Community Health Nurse. Work is 32 hours weekly with flexibility M-F 8 a-4:30 p and requires the use of a personal vehicle, a valid driver's license with proof of insurance. Occasional weekend hours may be needed. Two years of med-surg or home health experience is required and must be licensed in the State of Iowa or meet the requirements of multi-state licensure for an RN, BSN is preferred.
