Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for:

Medical Records Data & Referral Clerk

1-Full-time

Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Strong alphabetical and organizational skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:

• Answer all incoming calls into the medical records department

• Fax provider orders to appropriate agencies daily, immediately upon receipt

• Scan and index documents into the EMR to ensure documents are indexed within 72 hours after scanned to enhance access to records for the clinical staff

• Monitor “team follow up referral” desktop daily to remove completed referrals and send provider a flag for all incomplete referrals

• Mail or fax all releases for records requested from outside agencies within 1 week of receipt

• These functions are not all inclusive
