Security Officer Access Desk

As a Security Officer Access Desk in DAKOTA CITY, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

DayTime Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Verify identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery appointments before allowing entry to designated areas.
• Monitor and document vehicle, personnel, and visitor access; maintain accurate logs and communicate access concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
