Putting the ‘Rock' in ‘Hard Rock', guests are invited to experience the legends of music by exploring Hard Rock's expansive memorabilia collection with iconic pieces from SLASH to Johnny Cash!JOB SUMMARY The Casino Services Representative is responsible for the collection and count of cash boxes from the gaming floor.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collects gaming device drop boxes from HRM machines, slot machines, table games, etc. while adhering to company's Internal Control Policies and Procedures as well as local and state regulationsRecords accurate count of each box in count system/sheetPrepares and maintains proper paperwork to support and reconcile all money and vouchers countedUtilizes count machines and coin rollers in accordance with guidelinesComplies with all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations as well as maintains confidentiality where necessaryAssists other Team Members in moving and safeguarding the box cartPerforms other duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsKnowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Finance departmentBasic knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to learn count room computer applicationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrior cash handling experience and/or gaming background preferredMust obtain valid gaming license, where applicablePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS The employee must be able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.The employee may also be required to lift, push, and pull up to 25lbs.The employee is sometimes required to work with other Team Members in moving the box cart with a maximum of 400lbs.The employee may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, and smoke.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
