Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

2nd Shift | 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Description:

Short Staffed Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse team in Sioux City, IA. In this role, you will safely load, unload, move, and store products while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced operating warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently
• Move products to designated warehouse storage areas
• Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Scan, label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack merchandise
• Inspect freight for damage, shortages, or contamination
• Operate warehouse equipment, including: Stand-up forklifts,Stand-up straddle trucks, Walk-behind pallet jacks, Double pallet jacks, RF scanners
• Charge forklift batteries as needed
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately
• Follow OSHA regulations, company policies, and production standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least one year of forklift or warehouse experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others
• Willingness to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
