Career Opportunities: EVS, Attendant Full Time (4052)Requisition ID 4052 -Posted - SCE Partners LLC - Facilities - Hard Rock Sioux City - IA Hard Rock Hotel & CasinoJOB SUMMARYThe EVS Attendant is responsible for keeping facilities clean, sanitized, and properly maintained.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollows checklists and guidelines for efficient cleaning of assigned areasMaintains cleanliness of carpet and flooring by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and removal of debrisMaintains cleanliness of windows and mirrorsMaintains cleanliness of gaming equipment by cleaning slot machines, tables, chairs, etc.Maintains cleanliness of office spaces by cleaning walls and pantry areas, removing trash, and dusting furnitureMaintains cleanliness of restrooms by cleaning sinks, urinals, counters, as well as polishing fixtures and stocking suppliesCleans spills and removes biohazardous materialsKeeps storage areas and utility cards maintained and supplied with cleaning materialsAdheres to local, state, and national work safety regulations, including OSHANotifies maintenance if equipment needs repairPerforms other related duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIESKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, as well as their respective health and safety protocolDetail-oriented and thoroughExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret procedures, instructions, and correspondenceAbility to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guestsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredThree to six months experience preferredMust obtain valid gaming license, where applicablePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONSThe employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, push, pull, twist, and bend while enduring prolonged periods of standing and walking.The employee may need to exert up to 50 pounds of force.The employee will be required to push and pull a wheeled custodial cart or trash cart.The employee may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.The employee may occasionally work outside and is subject to all weather conditions.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and customer volume.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
