Siouxland Community Health Center1021 Nebraska StSioux City, IA 51105, USADescriptionSiouxland Community Health Center has an opening for:QUALITY REPORTING SPECIALIST1 – Full Time on site positionQualificationsStrong proficiency in SQL and database querying is required.Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Business Objects, and SSRS.Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, power query, data analysis functions).Excellent written communication skills to create clear and concise narratives accompanying reports.Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non‑technical stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).2–5 years of experience in report writing, data analysis, or a related role.Experience working with EHR systems; familiarity with EPIC is a plus.Primary FunctionsDevelop SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, analyze, and validate data from EHR and other organizational databases.Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, and EPIC.Create standard, recurring, and ad‑hoc reports to support clinical operations, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.Manage and maintain reporting‑related helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely response, prioritization, and resolution of user requests.Track, prioritize, and meet reporting deadlines across multiple projects and stakeholders.Collaborate with the Quality Manager and other stakeholders to identify reporting needs and translate requirements into actionable data outputs.Interpret data and present findings in a clear, concise, and user‑friendly format for both technical and non‑technical audiences.Validate report outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to distribution.Document report logic, data sources, workflows, and definitions to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and knowledge retention.Maintain organized documentation of reporting processes and data flows to support ongoing operations and auditing needs.Knowledge of data transformation, including the ability to work with complex SQL logic and interpret it in M code, is desirable.These functions are not all inclusive.BehaviorsTeam Player: Works well as a member of a group.Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.Ability to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization.Siouxland Community Health Center provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to any characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.SCHC participates in E‑Verify.Pre‑employment drug screen, background check, and review of required immunizations.
