Social Media & Digital Content Specialist Position Title: Social Media & Digital Content SpecialistDivision: Administrative ServicesDepartment: MarketingJob Description: The Social Media & Digital Content Specialist is responsible for managing the College's social media channels and website content. This position creates and manages content that supports recruitment, retention, student success, and brand awareness while overseeing website content, accessibility, search optimization, and digital engagement. The position works collaboratively across campus to ensure the College's digital presence is accurate, accessible, engaging, and aligned with institutional goals.Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement digital content strategies aligned with institutional goals.Create, edit, publish and share engaging content (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news).Maintain website content within a content management system (CMS).Manage college's social media accounts, including content, audience engagement, account governance, and implementation of best practices.Monitor website analytics, Search engine optimization (SEO) performance, social media metrics, and user engagement to improve visibility and effectiveness.Respond to website and social media inquiries.Ensure website and social media content complies with accessibility standards, digital compliance requirements, and institutional policies.Stay current with digital trends, emerging technologies, social media platforms, and content creation tools, and recommend opportunities for improvement.Support Marketing & Communications initiatives, recruitment efforts, events, publications, and special projects.Perform other duties as assigned.This is a full-time, grade 6, administrative position with an annual salary of $49,728.
