The incumbent drives continuous, efficient, and safe operation in compliance with food safety regulations, meeting or exceeding customer and company expectations.Job DutiesEnsure continuous and smooth production by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all production and facility equipment.Perform unscheduled repairs and planned maintenance activities promptly, either independently or as part of a team.Complete shift work orders within established timelines.Accurately document, record, and complete all necessary paperwork, including work orders and logs, to support tracking, auditing, and inventory purposes.Conduct root‑cause analysis on equipment failures resulting in downtime or deficiencies.Use CMMS, inventory search, and work order creation functions, ensuring accurate procedures.Collaborate with machine operators to determine required adjustments or repairs.Provide input and recommendations for shift action plans, seeking to update PM tasks, SOPs, and process efficiency.Collaborate with Management, Engineering, and Maintenance to continuously improve processes, procedures, and methods, pursuing optimal efficiency and productivity with safety as the highest priority; knowledge of and willingness to engage in 5S methodology preferred.Attend all daily start‑up, pass‑down, and training meetings as applicable.Escalate all issues as needed to the Maintenance Manager and management.Perform lock‑out‑tag‑out procedures when necessary.Follow all food safety and safety procedures and rules.Maintain a clean and orderly work area.Continuously monitor for cross‑contamination or foreign objects.Knowledge OfMaker's Pride products, production, and packaging processes.Required Competencies & KnowledgeMaker's Pride products, production, and packaging processes.Ability ToLead by example and promote teamwork.Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Ensure collaborative relationships with Hearthside staff.Work effectively with all levels of the organization.Coach and receive instructions using guidelines.Utilize ‘best in class' behaviors with a focus on safety, quality, and process.Multi‑task and respond to non‑routine requests.Work in a detail‑oriented fashion.Proficiency InMS Office Suite and Excel (SAP a plus).Work EnvironmentManufacturing facility on the production floor.Frequent exposure to wet, dusty, and/or humid conditions and heat and/or cold.Located near moving mechanical parts.Moderate noise level that may fluctuate due to mechanical equipment operation.Physical RequirementsThe role requires meeting the physical demands described here, with reasonable accommodations available to individuals with disabilities.Duties may be repetitive.Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally.Must be able to stand on one's feet for up to 8 hours (with breaks), walk, and use hands for handling, feeling, selecting objects, and perform manual dexterity tasks.Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.May need to work in high‑temperature areas, at heights minimally 2 feet from the ground, or around very strong magnetics.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred but not required.Regular and reliable attendance required.Ability to read, write, count, and identify numbers, letters, colors, characters, and symbols as required.Basic mathematics skills required.Basic computer skills and experience from a work or home environment preferred but not required; willingness to learn computer skills on the production floor is a must.Prior manufacturing/industrial experience preferred, especially with food or bakery experience.One year of prior maintenance/mechanic (industrial/manufacturing) experience or training required, preferably with processing and/or packaging equipment.Electrical and electrical motor experience preferred.Available to work night shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.Able to work safely in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities without losing composure.Able to follow all food safety and safety procedures and rules, including wearing required PPE and following proper LOTO requirements.Must comprehend and communicate with all levels of the team, including management, maintenance, sanitation, and co‑workers.Able to perform duties accurately with attention to detail, follow direction, and participate as a team player or independently.Demonstrates sound judgment, decision‑making, and problem‑solving ability.Able to work independently with initiative, needing minimal direct supervision.Maker's Pride is an Equal Opportunity Employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
