Position Summary

Thompson Solutions Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our Electrical Safety team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently by coordinating administrative processes, supporting customer communications, managing project documentation, and assisting with scheduling and billing activities.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with both internal teams and customers, and takes pride in keeping projects organized and on track.

What You'll Do

  • Support the successful execution of customer projects through accurate organization and processing of project documentation

  • Scan, organize, and maintain paperwork received from field personnel

  • Print labels, produce reports, assemble project binders, and prepare accounts for billing

  • Contact utility companies to obtain information related to customer projects

  • Coordinate and schedule customer appointments

  • Prepare project packets and materials for field personnel

  • Provide administrative support to the Electrical Safety team

  • Perform general clerical and office duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • One to two years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience preferred

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel

  • Ability to learn new software and internal systems

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment

  • Experience supporting teams and coordinating workflow is a plus
