The Part-Time Head Cheer Coach is responsible for the leadership, development, and administration of a sideline and/or competitive cheer program. This role focuses on: Game Day Atmosphere (supporting Football/Basketball, possible Volleyball/Wrestling), Student Recruitment (meeting specific roster goals), and outreach to the Greater Siouxland Community for Briar Cliff University. (school appearances, civic events, alumni functions)

Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
