Heavy Equipment Estimators verify and accurately provide electronic estimates on the cost of repairs on OTR trucks/trailers, heavy equipment so that our clients can determine a fair amount for settlement. An estimator reviews each assignment by speaking with the owner or representative, researching records, and inspecting any involved property, to the satisfaction and approval of the client and/or claimant.Contract Requirements 3+ years field claims experienceElectronic estimating experience using one or all estimating platforms: Mitchell, CCC, Adjustrite, Truck Maxx1+ year, strong customer service and conflict resolution competency1+ year, able to work independently (self-motivated)Excellent organization, attention to detail and adaptabilityContacting Alacrity clients to complete inspections/appraisals within given time framesSmartphone or other device capable of taking quality photos and transmitting themRequirements / What We Are Looking For Promptly and effectively handles all assignments to conclusion; makes decisions within delegated authority per client policies; delivers superior serviceMaintains current knowledge of local industry repair procedures and local market pricingWorking knowledge of Department of Insurance and State RegulationsSubmits detailed auto inspections and reports summarizing damages or open itemsIdentifies potential damages reported by owner and communicates findings with clientPlans and navigates daily routes efficiently using Optimizer Automation toolInspects all angles of vehicle (interior and exterior) visually and manuallyEstimates repair requirements and costs; evaluates and negotiates operations and costs of repairsDelivers a positive customer service experience to internal and external clientsMeets cycle-time and quality KPIs in a fast-paced environmentArticulates decisions and technical knowledge verbally and in writingReliable transportation, valid state driver's license, and safe driving recordProfessional business attire and appearance while serving the publicEducation / Licensure State licensing required (if applicable)Appraiser's license – if applicable to locationAdjuster's license - if applicable to locationHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredSkills / Competencies Heavy Equipment/Specialty (RVs, boats)Adjustrite, Mitchell, CCC experience a plusWhy Choose Alacrity?
