Quick Lane Supervisor

Sioux City Ford Lincoln is looking to add a Quick Lane Supervisor to our team. The Quick Lane Supervisor is responsible working with customers on phone and in person; handling scheduling for Quick Lane Advisors and Lube Technicians, and ensuring that all work is done to quality standards. A genuine desire to service the customer and a positive attitude and willingness to be a team member are essential to this position.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Maintain highest possible standards of workmanship; advise technicians of dealership CSI on a monthly basis.
  • Resolve 100% of customer complaints within 48 hours.
  • Keep dealer informed of serious complaints, possible legal cases, and cases not closed satisfactorily.
  • Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
  • Strive for harmony and teamwork with all other departments.
  • Attend managers' meetings as requested.
  • Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
  • Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all quick lane department staff.
  • Provide technical assistance to employees as needed.
  • Conduct meetings with department employees to discuss activities and problems of mutual interest.
  • Monitor technicians' payroll records.
  • Evaluate and counsel periodically with employees on job performance.
  • Secure agreement from customers before repairs; cover cost estimate; and approximate time when vehicle's work will be completed
  • Follow company safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, dust and harsh chemicals
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers and Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and read and understand computers.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, 2 year or 4 year Business Degree or related field preferred
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record and at least 18 years of age required to drive company and customer vehicles
  • One year experience with service in the automotive industry preferred
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Previous industry knowledge Sales or Service experience
  • Professional appearance
