The City of Sioux City/ Sioux Gateway Airport is seeking an energetic, flexible intern who is eager to grow professionally alongside our Airport Operations and Airfield Maintenance teams. This unique position is designed to rotate between both divisions, providing meaningful, hands-on exposure to daily airport functions, regulatory compliance, and critical operational decision-making. Throughout this eight-week program, you will gain firsthand experience with Part 139 airfield inspections, condition reporting, and the maintenance of airfield markings, lighting, and signage. You will also assist and learn about fueling operations and inspections, emergency preparedness, wildlife hazard management, and airport security operations, ensuring safety and efficiency during daily activities and active construction projects.
