Position Summary
The Contract Facility Manager (CFM) supports GSA Public Buildings Service (PBS) by overseeing daily operations, inspections, and project activities across federal facilities. This role ensures compliance, supports construction and repairs, and serves as an on-site representative for safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage facility operations and ensure compliance with GSA standards
- Conduct inspections and track corrective actions
- Support construction and repair projects from scope to closeout
- Coordinate with contractors, tenants, and stakeholders
- Maintain reports, documentation, and budget tracking
- Address tenant needs and support customer satisfaction
- Monitor building performance, costs, and asset conditions
- Perform on-site inspections and represent GSA in meetings
Qualifications
- 5+ years of facility, construction, or property management experience
- Knowledge of building systems and codes
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain HSPD-12 clearance
- Experience with Microsoft Office and GSA systems preferred
