Warehouse Worker

Join a well-established family-owned business with a rich history of serving the Midwest through 94 retail locations. We are seeking dedicated individuals for our main distribution center, which supplies products to all our locations. This role involves preparing and organizing shipments to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders that need to be shipped out each day.
• Stack and palletize orders according to work orders.
• Use shrink wrap to prepare loaded pallets for shipments.
• Collaborate with forklift operators to move materials as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience with forklifts, inventory management, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and general warehouse production tasks.
• At least 6 months of previous manual labor experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in order picking, packing, loading, and material handling.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, with the potential to work until 4:30 pm depending on the shift. The distribution warehouse is large with multiple levels and can get hot during the summer months. Employees may be required to work some Saturdays as well. The dress code requires closed-toed shoes, and attire must be free of offensive graphics. T-shirts and shorts are allowed when it's hot.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SIOUX CITY, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
