Job Title:
Financial Analyst
Job Description:

The Financial Analyst position involves analyzing data (e.g. executive compensation, peer
financials, real estate transactions), conducting market research and assisting with various
projects. This position will collaborate with senior leadership, the Project Management Office
and Human Resources on a variety of data analysis needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis to support decisioning on large scale projects including contract renewals, request for proposals, project investments and other business transactions.
• Assist Project Management Office (PMO) with ROI analysis and lookback analysis on completed projects.
• Analyze data to identify trends and make strategic recommendations utilizing a variety of data sources.
• Prepare and maintain reports and analyses for senior leadership and board presentations, including summaries, charts, and recommendations.
• Conduct and participate in surveys, market research, peer analysis, and benchmarking to support decisions.
• Monitor regulatory, governance, and market trends and provide summaries to senior stakeholders.
• Support preparation of annual proxy disclosure.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of executive compensation packages, including base salary, bonuses, equity awards, and other incentives.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret financial statements
• Data analysis and mining skills
• Strong knowledge of and the ability to interpret various financial metrics and concepts, including net present value, ROI, etc.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, HRIS)
• Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior leadership
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Supervisory Responsibilities

• None

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting or data analysis
• Publicly traded company experience preferred
• Experience in banking or financial services industry preferred

Computer and Software Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel for analytics
• Proficiency in Power BI
• Proficiency in SQL
• Human Resources Information System (HRIS) - Workday preferred
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software - Salesforce preferred
