Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a high-performing maintenance team in the Sioux City area! This leader will play a key role in developing technicians, improving equipment reliability, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Our ideal candidate blends deep technical expertise with strong leadership. Someone who can coach, build accountability, implement sustainable systems, and drive long-term reliability rather than short-term fixes.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of management experience
• Fully cooked food manufacturing experience
• Protein industry experience (meat, poultry, or related protein processing)
• Proven leadership experience supporting, developing, and directing maintenance technicians
• Strong understanding and application of 5S workplace organization
• Ability to lead, develop, and hold team members accountable while growing their skill sets
• Significant hands-on industrial maintenance expertise
• Experience with Autonomous Maintenance (AM), a TPM pillar where operators perform basic equipment care for early issue detection, reduced breakdowns, improved technician utilization, and increased ownership of equipment
• Capability in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to eliminate problems at the source
• Reliability-focused mindset, prioritizing long-term improvement over reactive repairs
• Support for Lean or Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Ability to balance maintenance priorities with operational needs
