We are currently hiring for a Full time Sanitation Supervisor position for 3rd shift in Sioux City, Iowa. This position offers Relocation bonus, full time benefits, Annual Bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

Sanitation Oversight (80%)

• Monitor and verify proper implementation of sanitation procedures
• Evaluate sanitation conditions using analytical and food safety criteria
• Oversee nightly cleaning tasks and ensure completion of scheduled sanitation activities
• Verify cleaning effectiveness using ATP swabbing and adjust processes based on results
• Manage pre-operational sanitation non-compliances during USDA inspection
• Validate chemical titration and ensure proper chemical usage
• Maintain sanitation equipment and inventory
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure sanitation-related PM tasks are completed

Training & FSQA Support (20%)

• Train sanitation staff on proper cleaning procedures, documentation, and safety
• Prepare media and reagents for microbiological and chemical testing
• Support FSQA programs including Allergen Control, Pest Control, Chemical Control, and Glass/Brittle Plastics
• Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualification:

• Sanitation experience in a meat processing plant (Pork preferred; Beef/Poultry acceptable)
• 3–5 years Supervisory or lead experience in sanitation
• Strong understanding of USDA regulations, GMPs, and food safety practices
• Ability to work overnight 3rd shift with a 10:30 PM start time
• Flexibility to work Monday–Friday/Saturday with Sunday coverage as needed
• Ability to evaluate sanitation conditions, assess risk, and problem-solve
• Strong communication skills (must interact with USDA, operations, maintenance, and sanitation crews)
• Ability to climb ladders, enter confined spaces, and work in cold/hot environments
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
