Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday, occasional holidays and evenings

As a member of an inter-disciplinary Supply Chain team, a Receiver performs administrative tasks related to inspection, receiving, and distribution of inbound and outboundshipments. The position is responsible for communicating discrepancies in shipments with the Central Procurement department. The position is responsible for processing returns in conjunction with the Buyer. The position assists with Inventory Control functions related to receipts for inventory items.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for efficient and timely unloading of shipments from freight carrier through use of pallet jack, hand truck, or flatbed.
  • Inspects packages for damages.
  • Verifies product shipment to packing slip.
  • Appropriately and accurately documents receipt of product in Lawson ERP system.
  • Identifies and communicates with Central Procurement discrepancies in shipments.
  • Files packing slips and receiving records.
  • Completes deliver of packages to correct location per Purchase Order.
  • Processes vendor returns in the ERP system and for the outbound freight carrier to process.
Qualifications

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

1-2 years in supply chain distribution

License(s)/Certification(s):

Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Must be self-directed and assume responsibility for timely completion of job responsibilities.

Must possess strong Customer Service skills.

Must possess skills related to projection coordination and critical thinking.

Must have strong safety background.
