We are currently seeking Wind Turbine Technicians local to the city of Sioux City, IA, with required travel up to 50% to work in the state of Iowa, that can join our dynamic team. Qualified candidates will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of multiple brands of services, namely elevators, to include troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical components on wind farm sites.

Required Qualifications:
If entry-level, provide proof of Wind Technician Certification from an accredited Wind Academy or equivalent Trade School.
Able to travel for in-state site work, training and other company functions up to 50%.
Possess excellent electrical and mechanical skills.
Knowledge of turbine-related machinery and tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance.
Knowledge of circuit boards, electronic equipment, computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for protection of people, property, and institutions.
Willing to learn and progress into a stronger role, such as troubleshooting, commissioning or serving as lead technician on site.
Any experience with turbine technology and/or being up-tower on platforms welcomed, including Solar/Off-shore experience.
Physical Requirements:
Capable of lifting at least 40-100 lbs.
Capable of bending, twisting, and lifting items overhead.
Capable of climbing a wind tower up to 400 ft in height up to three times daily.

Additional Information:
Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, work instructions, manuals.
Fluent English verbal and written communications skills are required.
Must have current valid driver's license and fit-to-drive record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years, including passing a Motor Vehicle Record.
Ability to pass a criminal background check (project/client dependent and you will be notified if needed).

Compensation is commensurate with experience, in addition to safety, electrical, and mechanical certifications relevant to the position. A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
