Title: Seasonal Warehouse AssistantLocation: North Sioux City, SDJob Type: Full Time - HourlyTime Frame: May 2026 - August 2026Reports To: Operations ManagerRoles and Responsibilities* Diagnose malfunctions of computer hardware for the purpose of determining the appropriate parts neededfor the repair of the computer* Knowledge of various tools and techniques involved in general warehouse work and computer repair* Ability to disassemble and assemble a wide variety of computers for repair purposes* Maintain accurate records using designated applications provided* Participates in all aspects of warehousing, shipping, receiving, organizing, and storing of goods in the warehouse* Ability to manage the installation of custom images on several computers simultaneously* Ability to work with limited supervision on a daily basis* Ability to perform data collection and recordingQualifications and Education Requirements* Knowledge of basic computer skills* Over 18 years old* A good knowledge of different computer componentsPreferred Skills* Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and work with teams, and management at all levels in a cross-functional environment* Excellent oral and written communications; an ability to present and discuss departmental information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding no matter the level of audience* Basic understanding of warehouse processes* Critical thinking and problem solvingWork Environment/Physical Demands:* Standing for extended periods of time in a climate-controlled office environment.* Must have a positive attitude and be very detail oriented* Extended periods of time utilizing hand tools needed to repair computers.* Able to move quickly to meet warehouse demands* Must be able to lift up to 50-75 lbs. repetitively* Must clear criminal background check and drug test* Moderate travel may be requiredSterling Computers Corporation ("Sterling") is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
