IMKO is hiring Cooks for a local school district. The Cooks will work with various foods and products within the kitchen. The school district lunch program requires nutritionally balanced breakfast and lunches while staying in compliance with the Department ofEducation Food and Nutrition. Cook Responsibilities are, however, will not be limited to:

1. Document temperature of coolers and freezers
2. Removing frozen meat for the week allowing time to thaw properly
3. Preparing meals according to recipes provided
4. Prepare both Hot and Cold food items
5. Operate Grills, Fryers
6. Must make sure all foods are cooked to the correct temperature and held at that temperature until served.
7. Prepare ala carte items'
8. Prepare, cook and organize all breakfast foods and counter
9. Serve the lunch items to the students.
10. Clean the kitchen area

This is a physical position, requiring long periods of standing. At times, the lunchroom staff must lift and carry up to 50 lbs. This opening requires fine motor skills and the ability to speak, hear, and see clearly at distances greater than 20 feet and less than 20 inches. What you will make as a Cook: Starting pay $15.00 This opening is first shift M-F 6: 45am - 1: 30pm. Valid Drivers License required. Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings IMKO Pays Weekly on Fridays!
