Hub International Northeast Limited seeks an energetic, initiative-taking Associate Claims Advocate to join our Property and Casualty (P&C) Claims Group.

Job Function & Responsibilities:

  • Assist claim management and designated Hub advocates on projects, including claim reviews and day-to-day updates to clients and internal account teams.
  • Communicate with insureds, carriers, adjusters, and counsel for the life of a claim
  • Review policies to evaluate and assess coverage.
  • Notice claims to carriers and create claim files in claim management system
  • Review and evaluate claims-related documentation, including complaints, leases and contracts for the purpose of determining proper handling of claims as well as liability and/or insurable interest.
  • Advocate 1st party property and 3rd party claims from initial notice of claim to settlement on behalf of HUB clients, including drafting and issuance of rebuttal letters
  • Maintain active diary of claim files for tracking claims and proper documentation.
Requirements:
  • College preferred
  • 3 to 4 years minimum multi-line brokerage or carrier claims handling experience
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
Qualifications:
  • Comfortable interacting with clients and senior management
  • Familiar with various lines of coverage
  • Well organized, self-motivated, willingness to learn, attention to detail.


The expected salary range for this position is $41.21/hr - $42.58/hr and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
