"A Day in The Life" at UnityPoint Health:

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, thetraveler contributes professional/clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.

The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Traveler must be more than 50 miles from market.

• NBO: 16 hrs
• EMR: Cerner Powerchart
• OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
• Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
• On Call: $9/hr
• Charge/Precept: $6/hr

• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Drips Administered: Heparin and Insulin

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

• Winter holidays: Required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
• Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

• At least 2 years of previous Med/surg Tele experience required
• At least 1 travel contract completed
