Job Summary
As part of HP Solutions, the Hybrid Finance Category Director is a strategic business leader responsible for driving the performance and growth of the Hybrid Systems organization, which focuses on delivering innovative solutions for hybrid work.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leading category strategy, business planning, and execution across the hybrid product portfolio. Partnering with cross-functional teams to define product and market priorities, enabling seamless connectivity and productivity for hybrid workers. Accountable for financial results, market share, and innovation roadmap alignment with customer needs and business goals.
Responsibilities
Owns the global P&L for the Hybrid Systems category, with accountability for revenue, margin, and market performance.
• Leads strategy and execution across product lines that enable hybrid work, including devices, services, and software integration.
• Drives go-to-market alignment, innovation planning, and portfolio lifecycle management across global markets.
• Identifies opportunities to grow share and improve profitability by analyzing category performance and market dynamics.
• Defines investment priorities in collaboration with Finance and Product Development to support long-term growth.
Key Contacts
Key partner to Category, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales leaders to align strategy and execution.
• Regular engagement with Finance, Operations, and Channel partners to ensure full business support and coordination.
• Represents Hybrid Systems in executive forums, bringing an informed and forward-looking voice to category discussions.
• Balances detailed product knowledge with high-level business narrative to influence stakeholders and executive leadership.
Knowledge and Experience
Deep expertise in category management, product lifecycle, and go-to-market strategy within a technology or hardware business.
• Strong understanding of hybrid work trends, customer behavior, and market segmentation.
• Proven leadership in developing global teams and influencing across geographies and functions.
• Experience balancing Short-term execution with long-term planning and innovation.
• Ability to navigate matrixed organizations and drive alignment across Business Units, R&D, Supply Chain, and Sales.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 12+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.

The pay range for this role is $166,050 to $265,700 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
