Genesis10 is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist - Remote position with a major utility company in Newark, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $30.64 - $40.64 per Hour

This role focuses on the purchasing of non-complex materials and services, working with existing master agreements, and processing change orders. The ideal candidate will support internal auditing processes and ensure adherence to all proper buying procedures within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Purchase non-complex materials and services
• Purchase off existing master agreements
• Complete change orders to outline agreements and purchase orders
• Provide reports in support of internal auditing
• Evaluate supplier viability and sustainability
• Follow and support all processes around proper buying and documents

Requirements:

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Procurement or supply chain experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel spreadsheets
• High-level written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent reading comprehension

Desired skills:

• Experience with SAP or Ariba
