WHO WE ARE HIRING: Training Materials Specialist (Multimedia & Documentation) WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Training Materials Specialist (Multimedia & Documentation) is responsible for the end-to-end development, production, and maintenance of all training materials supporting system implementation and ongoing learning initiatives. This role develops written training documentation, visual assets, and multimedia content to ensure users receive clear, engaging, and accurate instruction. The Specialist works closely with the Training Lead, Trainers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and client stakeholders to design, update, and enhance materials in response to system updates, policy changes, and user feedback. This role ensures all materials align with client documentation standards and supports the development and enforcement of operational standards for training deliverables. Experience supporting MMIS or other large-scale eligibility or healthcare systems is strongly preferred. Responsibilities: Training Documentation & Visual Assets Develop, format, and maintain: Participant guides Instructor guides PowerPoint presentations Quick reference guides and job aids Annotated screenshots and process flow diagrams Translate complex system functionality into structured, user-friendly training materials. Ensure all materials comply with client documentation standards, Agency branding, accessibility requirements, and other client standards. Develop and maintain operational standards for training documentation, including formatting conventions, version control protocols, naming standards, and quality review processes. Maintain organized documentation repositories and ensure consistent version management. Revise materials based on system enhancements, policy updates, client feedback, and training evaluations. Multimedia Content Development Design, script, produce, and edit: Instructional and demonstration videos Voiceover narration Audio learning modules Collaborate with SMEs, client stakeholders, and Trainers to storyboard and record multimedia content. Ensure multimedia materials align with client documentation and operational standards. Apply accessibility and branding requirements across all multimedia assets. Maintain and update multimedia resources as system functionality evolves. Organize and manage media asset libraries and file versioning. Required Experience 3+ year's experience developing training materials for enterprise systems or software applications 3+ year's experience working within defined client documentation standards and governance frameworks 3+ year's experience developing and implementing operational standards for documentation or training programs Experience producing and editing instructional video and audio content Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) and PDF tools Proficiency with video and audio editing software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent revisions Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, operational, and client stakeholders Preferred Experience Desired Software includes Articulate Storyline Adobe Captivate and LMS platforms Experience supporting MMIS or Medicaid-related systems Familiarity with system modernization initiatives or large-scale implementations Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices Experience working with state agencies or government clients Education and Certification Associate's degree, or equivalent, in Communications, English, Business, Education, or other related discipline with three (3) or more years of experience related to this position.
