Pay Range: $31.47 - $52.87 per hour

Summary:

Join Rush as a Clinical Application Analyst and play a critical role in advancing healthcare technology that directly supports patient care. In this dynamic, hybrid position, you will design, configure, and optimize clinical applications that drive operational efficiency and enhance clinical workflows across the organization. A key focus of this role includes integrating and maintaining clinical device data across a wide range of systems, such as Philips Telemetry, Natus EEG, GE CPN Fetal Monitoring, Capsule, Rauland Nurse Call, Vocera, and middleware platforms like Connexall-ensuring seamless communication between devices and core clinical systems.

You'll collaborate closely with clinical informatics, IT teams, and operational stakeholders to translate complex clinical and business needs into effective technical solutions. From system implementations and upgrades to ongoing enhancements and troubleshooting, you'll be at the forefront of delivering reliable, high-performing healthcare IT systems. Responsibilities:

• Develops, maintains, and optimizes all assigned clinical software solutions.
• Builds, tests, and implements computer applications and other systems that support clinical initiatives.
• Serves as a liaison between project team members and other IS resources while providing exemplary customer service and application support and development for all assigned clinical healthcare IT systems.
• Performs modification of applications as needed to meet business and clinical requirements.
• Interacts with clinical informatics to understand new business requirements and enhancement requests.
• Documents issues with resolutions and share with team members to improve team productivity.
• Take initiative and drives to bring to logical conclusion; proactive approach, including continual improvement of knowledge of supported systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of clinical experience or designing, building and supporting clinical applications.
• An Associate degree and five (5) years of clinical experience or designing, building and supporting clinical applications will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's.
• Experience defining clinical and operating requirements, and translate requirements into clear, specific, actionable system configurations, and the ability to implement those configurations.
• Ability to test and audit personally developed system configurations, in order to assure functional accuracy.
• Knowledge of systems implementation which may include analysis, specification design, and implementation.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Relationship, teamwork, and project management skills.
• Strong conceptual, process, and data analysis skills, an in-depth understanding of medical practice informatics, clinical, and operating data sets.
• PC proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
