Job Title: General Laborer Job Description

Join our team as a General Laborer, where you will play a crucial role in the production of irrigation tubing for the agricultural industry. Your work will help ensure that the products are of the highest quality and meet the needs of farmers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Coiling drainage pipe after it is manufactured.

• Inspecting pipes to ensure there are no defects or kinks.

• Wrapping twine around coils to maintain their integrity.

• Utilizing a knife to cut the pipe as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in warehouse operations, forklift operation, production, and assembly.

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to package and load materials efficiently.

• Capable of standing on feet for 8-10 hours a day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English through speaking, reading, and writing.

• No specific education required.

• Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.

Work Environment

Work requires standing for 8-10 hours a day on concrete floors. The environment may involve static electricity from the pipes. Dress code includes closed-toed shoes, jeans, and a shirt without holes or profanity. Available shifts are 2nd (3pm-11pm) and 3rd (11pm-7am) from Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux City, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.75/hr.
