Description:

DPP is seeking a Senior Full-stack Developer for a hybrid opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.

Location: Partial onsite in Columbia, SC
Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday thru Thursday; Remote Monday and Friday
Schedule: Standard business hours (8:00 AM-5:00 PM, 8-hour days)
Duration: 6 months contract-to-hire; W2 position
Other: Residency requirement applies

Position summary:

  • The Sr. Full-stack Developer will join a team that builds and supports externally facing websites and tools used across Medicare contracts. The team values close collaboration, open communication, and delivering high-quality, user-friendly web applications.
  • This position plays a key role in developing modern, scalable, secure web applications using Node.js, React with TypeScript, and containerized architectures.
Top required skills:
  • Node.js (expert level) for API development
  • React with TypeScript (expert level) ideally with Next.js
  • Building containerized applications
  • Building RESTful Web Services
Nice to have:
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with performance optimization and monitoring tools
  • Previous experience mentoring or leading development teams
Minimum required work experience:
  • 8 years of application development, systems testing, or other job-related experience, and
  • 5+ years of professional development experience with a proven track record in complex projects
Required education/equivalencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
  • OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
  • OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 12 years without a degree)
Team structure:
  • Developers (2), CX Developer, Business Analyst, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Tester.
  • Small, collaborative, easy-going team focused on producing the best websites and applications possible.
Residency requirement:
  • Candidates who are foreign nationals must have resided in the US for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years prior to assignment to the client's applicable government contract.
