Our client is a rapidly growing D2C beauty brand pioneering LED light therapy devices with a visual, trend-forward approach that resonates with modern consumers. Their brand sits at the intersection of beauty, wellness, and pop culture - creating endless opportunities for creative storytelling. We need someone to own our client's entire creator and organic social ecosystem from the ground up. TikTok Shop represents a massive untapped revenue opportunity that needs strategic development. Their creator relationships are fragmented, and they lack systematic processes for recruiting, managing, and optimizing creator partnerships across multiple use cases (organic posts, paid partnerships, affiliates, content creation).
The right person will excel at building relationships with creators, understanding platform algorithms and trends, and creating scalable systems that turn creator partnerships into predictable revenue and content pipelines. You'll own TikTok Shop as a revenue channel, manage their brand's organic social presence, and build a high-performing creator network that supports both organic growth and paid advertising strategies.
Responsibilities
1. Email & SMS Marketing (Retention Ownership)
- Take full ownership of Klaviyo email marketing and bring it fully in-house
- Optimize existing flows to increase engagement, conversion, and automated revenue
- Build new high-impact flows such as replenishment, VIP, and seasonal campaigns
- Plan and execute weekly campaigns aligned with promotions and launches
- Run structured A/B tests across subject lines, content, and send times
- Manage segmentation, list hygiene, and deliverability
- Track and report on revenue and performance metrics
- Partner with Ecommerce Manager to align retention with overall growth strategy
2. TikTok Shop & Affiliate Revenue - Audit and optimize TikTok Shop storefront and product listings
- Monitor performance and implement data-driven improvements
- Recruit, onboard, and manage affiliate and retainer creators
- Maintain structured creator database with performance tracking
- Ensure consistent Spark Code pipeline for paid advertising
- Optimize commissions and incentives to improve affiliate ROI
- Document processes and build scalable creator systems
3. Social-to-Email Growth - Build and optimize ManyChat flows on Instagram and TikTok
- Design social campaigns that convert engagement into email subscribers
- Test lead magnets, automations, and list-growth incentives
- Track conversion from social engagement to subscriber to customer
- Source and manage Instagram whitelisting partners for paid ads
4. Organic Social Strategy - Collaborate with Creative and Operations teams on Instagram and TikTok strategy
- Provide input on content themes, engagement tactics, and brand positioning
- Support light design and video editing when needed
- Track organic traffic impact and brand engagement metrics
5. Cross-Channel Collaboration - Align email, social, and paid messaging for consistency
- Share insights between paid ads, organic content, and retention efforts
- Focus all initiatives on measurable revenue growth
- Coordinate closely with Ecommerce, Creative, and Operations teams
Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies Core Skills & Experience (Required) - 3+ years of experience in email marketing, retention marketing, or growth marketing for D2C brands
- Strong hands-on Klaviyo expertise including flow builds, segmentation, testing, and list management
- Proven record of driving email revenue growth and improving engagement metrics
- Experience managing creator partnerships and affiliate programs
- Working knowledge of TikTok Shop, Instagram, and social commerce platforms
- Experience with ManyChat or similar automation tools
- Understanding of Spark Codes and Instagram whitelisting
- Strong copywriting ability and comfort using AI tools
- Data-driven approach to performance analysis and optimization
Nice to Have - Experience in beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands
- Experience building or scaling TikTok Shop from early stages
- Basic design skills in Canva or Figma and light video editing
- Previous experience transitioning email from agency to in-house
