SQL DATA Engineer - HYBRID (JACKSONVILLE, FL)
ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a SQL Data Engineer! This is starting out as a 12 month contract position with potential to extend longer or possibly convert to FTE. The position is hybrid, with a couple of days per week onsite in Jacksonville, FL. Job Description:

Must-Have Skills:

• Writing highly complex SQL queries (joins across large fact tables, window functions, performance tuning)
• Designing and optimizing Star/Snowflake schemas
• Experience with:
• IBM Netezza (Preferred)
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Oracle Database
• Handling large-scale batch processing (10TB+ datasets preferred)
• Nightly claims or transactional processing pipelines
• Indexing, partitioning, query performance optimization

Required Work Experience:

5+ years related work experience, Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
5+ years' experience with SQL/Stored Procedures.
HADOOP/Spark/Python development experience required

Required Education:
• HS Diploma or GED
