The Enrollment Marketing Specialist will coordinate initiatives that support recruitment, inquiry nurturing, and enrollment goals, and assist with executing enrollment-focused marketing and communication. This entry-level role provides hands-on support for enrollment marketing communication campaigns, content development, project coordination and data tracking, including Slate data support. The position collaborates closely with Admissions, University Marketing and Communications and other offices to ensure timely, student-centered and brand-aligned enrollment messaging.
Essential Functions
- In collaboration with the Director of Enrollment Marketing and Communications, will coordinate enrollment marketing communication flows, including email, digital, print, web, and event-related communications.
- Support enrollment marketing data needs by assisting with Slate list pulls, database queries and the preparation and delivery of reports for enrollment marketing communications.
- Provide support for enrollment-focused marketing materials, including contributions towards copy, design, and assisting with project management.
- Coordinate enrollment-related mailings, including preparing mailing materials, pulling and organizing items and working with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate production and delivery.
- Assist Director to support enrollment email campaigns, direct mail, webpages, and recruitment events while ensuring messaging is accurate, consistent, student-centered, and aligned with institutional brand guidelines.
- Coordinate communications timelines, track deliverables, and support project management to ensure timely completion and appropriate timing of enrollment communications.
- Support content updates and coordinate with University Marketing and Communications and other constituents as needed.
- Assist with ordering enrollment marketing promotional items, managing inventory, and providing administrative and logistical support to the Director of Enrollment Marketing and Communications, including meeting preparation and follow-up.

QualificationsRequred: - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient at multitasking
Preferred: - Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, or a related field
- One year of experience or internship experience in marketing, communications, admissions or higher education
- Experience or training in copywriting
- Familiarity with CRM systems/Slate, email marketing platforms, or content management systems
- Experience or interest in marketing within Christian higher education.
Environmental Conditions: - Indoors in a normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, fumes, vibrations, and temperature changes at least eighty percent (80%) of the time.
- Frequent computer use at a workstation, up to eight hours per day.
- Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
- Drive personal or University vehicles to appointments.
- Public contact position requiring professional apparel, personal hygiene, and grooming.
Physical Demands: - This position typically functions indoors in an office environment with light to moderate noise associated with business office equipment. The position may involve travel for meetings and events.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: remain in a stationary position 80 % of the time, be able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets/office machinery etc., operate a computer and keyboard and other office productivity machinery such as calculators/copy machines/printers. The employee is occasionally required to position self to reach items on the floor and in high cabinetry.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Employee must be able to communicate with others to exchange information including both over the telephone and in-person communication with callers and community members and be able to read a computer screen and paper documents.

University Information $35,360 to $42,640 is the annual starting salary for this role and reflects what Fresno Pacific University reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to compensation, FPU offers a competitive benefits package.
