As a Bakery Associate, you will be an integral part of our bakery department, ensuring that customers receive the highest quality baked goods while fostering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. If you are outgoing, dependable, and enjoy working as part of a team, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their bakery needs.
• Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing equipment and workspace daily.
• Prepare and package a variety of delicious bakery products.
• Decorate items beautifully for sale or as requested by customers.
• Carefully operate the oven and other bakery equipment.
• Organize and stock bakery items on shelves to ensure product availability.
• Accurately record and report inventory counts.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the bakery team.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work Saturdays.
• Courage to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal communication abilities.
• Sharp attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Previous bakery experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of standing for up to 8+ hours daily.
• Ability to lift, reach, bend, and perform various physical activities.
• Frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.

Equipment You Will Use:

• Ovens, proofers, and bread slicers.
• Knives, cooking equipment, and scales.
• Dishwasher and balers for cardboard/plastic.

Work Environment:

• Prepare for varying temperature conditions common in a bakery setting.
