Job Opportunity At Siouxland Community Health Center

Full-time position hours are Monday & Thursday 9am to 6pm; Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8am to 5pm. Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic computer skills with electronic medical/health records (EMR) experience a definite plus.
• Previous phone experience a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and use overhead paging system.
• Access practice management system to inform patients of appointment information.
• Formulate phone notes from patient calls in EMR.
• Works directly with medical staff to ensure accurate communication and understanding between patient and staff.
• Assists patients in completing all necessary intake forms at initial visit, including but not limited to, demographic and medical history and financial verification.
