Implementation Specialist

Client is seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to support a time-sensitive initiative focused on ingesting, validating, and interpreting third-party health claims data to demonstrate the financial and health impact of client wellbeing programs.
This role sits at the intersection of client understanding, data analysis, and technical coordination. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with health claims data, understands benefits and plan terminology, and can translate complex data inputs into clear, client-facing insights. This is not an engineering role, but it does require strong technical aptitude and analytical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a working understanding of each client's wellbeing program configuration, including products such as coaching, software applications, incentives, and other services
• Partner with account managers and internal teams to understand client goals and success criteria
• Review claims data assessments prepared by technical teams, identifying available data fields and gaps
• Evaluate which missing data elements are critical based on the client's specific product mix
• Coordinate with internal teams and external insurers or TPAs to request additional claims data when necessary
• Work comfortably with large datasets, tables, and data fields
• Analyze claims data at a high level to identify trends related to wellbeing outcomes
• Validate data completeness and consistency in collaboration with technical teams
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and client-facing stakeholders
• Translate claims data findings into clear, client-ready narratives that support ROI discussions
• Support account managers with insights that demonstrate the value of wellbeing programs
• Support the review and analysis of a backlog of approximately 100 client accounts
• Help the organization determine how much of the workload can be absorbed by existing teams after the initial spike

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience working with health insurance or health claims data
• Strong understanding of benefits terminology, plan structures, and claims concepts
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
• Ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in implementation, client onboarding, or technical consulting roles

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of SQL (ability to validate or review data with technical teams)
• Experience in wellbeing, population health, benefits administration, or healthcare technology
• Prior experience working with third-party insurers or TPAs
