Your Shift

• Hours: 7 am- 3:30 pm
• Days: Monday-Friday (choose your shifts in the app)
• Pay: $14/hour, paid every Friday (daily pay available)
• Location: Americold: 2900 Murray St, Sioux City, IA 51111

Work Environment:

• The area in the facility where you'll be working is 40-43 degrees.
• You will not be provided any cold weather gear so wear warm clothing.

You are required to have rubber boots since the work area is consistently wet.

What You'll Do

You'll play a key role in keeping orders moving by:

• Handling raw meat products like pork ribs, bellies, and beef trim as they move through processing
• Placing product into boxes and preparing it for the next stage of production
• Working in tempering areas where product is thawed using air or water systems
• Moving product by hand throughout the line (this is mostly manual labor, not forklift work)
• Maintaining cleanliness and quality standards while working in a cool, wet environment

What We're Looking For:

This is an active, hands-on job in a production environment. You should be comfortable:

• Standing for long periods
• Lifting and moving boxes up to 55 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally
• Rebuilding pallets and moving product by hand
• Working in tight spaces and reaching higher storage areas
• Working around wet floors and food processing equipment
• Working in cool temperatures
