Automation Technician Position Overview:
Gpac has partnered with a leading manufacture seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join their growing team. Key Qualifications:
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining automated machinery, robotics, or electro-mechanical systems
- Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, VFDs, and industrial control components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
- Desire to learn new automation technologies and support continuous improvement
- Willingness to collaborate with Engineers, Electricians, and Technicians as part of a team
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Assist in the assembly, installation, and testing of automated equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
- Support debugging, calibration, and optimization of automation systems
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Machine Builders, and Electricians to resolve technical challenges
- Perform component modifications and system adjustments to ensure proper functionality
- Stay current with evolving automation technologies and best practices
- Maintain strong documentation habits and follow all safety procedures
