JOB FUNCTION:
Join our team as a Meat Department Clerk, where you will be essential in delivering high-quality meat products to our valued customers. Your skills in meat cutting and extensive product knowledge will elevate our reputation for exceptional service and quality. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver outstanding customer service
• Clean and sanitize equipment daily
• Prepare various meat products
• Cut and package meat to specifications
• Accurately record and report inventory counts
• Assist customers with their shopping experience
• Restock and maintain the meat case
• Keep digital logs updated
• Perform other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Availability to work Saturdays and some evenings
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Strong interpersonal skills and verbal communication
• Basic mathematical skills are necessary
• Previous experience is a plus but not mandatory

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to stand for up to 8+ hours daily
• Repetitive motions including lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting
• Frequently lifts items up to 20 pounds; occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds

TYPICAL EQUIPMENT USED:

• Grinders, slicers, knives, tenderizer, cooking equipment, and scales
• Box balers, stock carts, and manual pallet movers

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Exposure to varying temperatures typical of a meat department
