Kinsa is recruiting for a Plant Manager / RTE Food Manufacturing

Location: Northwestern Iowa (Onsite w/relocation)

Our client is seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to lead their newly established RTE food production facility in Northwestern Iowa. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring the successful startup, efficient operation, and ongoing growth of the plant. As a strategic leader, you will oversee daily plant activities, manage teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational excellence within a dynamic food manufacturing environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 base salary
• 25% Annual Bonus & room for growth

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

• Lead and oversee all daily operations of the RTE food production facility, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely.
• Manage and develop management, supervisory, and production staff to foster a high-performance team culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food safety standards, and quality control protocols across the plant.
• Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
• Manage plant budgets, control costs, and analyze data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate cross-departmental activities, maintain effective communication, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Competencies Needed For Success:

• Minimum of 7 years of plant management experience within the food industry, preferably in refrigerated or frozen RTE products.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and drive results.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality assurance, and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
