Wilson Trailer is looking for an experienced Welder for our Tool and Die Department located in Sioux City, Iowa.

As a Welder in Tool and Die, you will be responsible for creating and repairing machines and parts to machines - anything from a single punch to building a new punch machine or a 50' long welding beam.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections on hoists, production tables and all tools used to ensure safety.
• Must be mechanically inclined and be able to operate many machines such as welding jigs, drill press, milling machines, etc.
• Ability to read and understand print orders from Engineering
• Ability to operate an overhead crane
• Attention to detail

Desired Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand production and print orders
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure
• Must be flexible with assignments
• Experience in mig welding with steel and aluminum
