Job Position: Welder

Location: Sioux City, IA 51101

Pay Rate: $23.00/hr

Shift: 6:00AM-Finish

Description: Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on steel and metal components

Fabricate and assemble metal parts based on blueprints, measurements, and specifications

Operate hand tools, grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment

Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and quality; make adjustments as needed

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Work independently or as part of a team to meet production timelines

Qualifications:

Previous welding experience required (industrial or fabrication preferred)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or drawings

Knowledge of welding tools, equipment, and safety standards

Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Welding certification is a plus, but not required
