Job Description

An Industrial Maintenance Instructor teaches students how to install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial machinery and systems used in manufacturing and industrial environments. They combine classroom teaching with hands-on lab instruction covering mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation concepts.

This is a full-time, 176-day instructional position with an opportunity for a continuing contract status that is contingent upon Board approval and funding. Teaching assignments may include variable hours at various sites, including days, evenings, and/or weekends. Teaching assignments may include variable modes of instruction including face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes. There may be opportunity to teach during the summer semester.

Key Duties

• Teach industrial maintenance fundamentals, safety practices, and technical skills.
• Provide hands-on training with industrial equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Develop and update curriculum to match industry standards.
• Assess student performance through tests and hands-on evaluations.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Support students through mentoring, career guidance, and skill development.
• Collaborate with industry partners to align training with workforce needs.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in related field or
• Minimum of 3 years of Industry experience
