Blow Mold Machine Operator Job Summary:

Starting Pay: $18.00/Hr

**$2.00 differential for night shift**

The Blow Mold Machine Operator is responsible for the efficient, safe, and high-quality operation of extrusion blow molding machinery and associated auxiliary equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring optimal production performance while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Blow Mold Machine Operator Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion blow molding equipment to ensure the consistent production of high-quality products.
• Perform routine autonomous maintenance and troubleshooting to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Support and uphold 5S organizational standards to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards for machine operations.
• Collaborate effectively with the Extrusion Blow Molding Manager and production team to ensure seamless workflow and issue resolution.
• Maintain compliance with established production targets, efficiency metrics, and quality control specifications.
• Participate in daily planning meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Identify, document, and report any equipment malfunctions, performance deviations, or product quality concerns.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and workplace guidelines to maintain operational excellence.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support production needs.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating industrial machinery, preferably in extrusion blow molding.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply technical machine operation instructions and quality standards.

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and operational issues effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a production setting.
• Ability to comprehend and execute written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
