Job Description
We're seeking a skilled and reliable Tool and Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building, repairing, and maintaining tooling, dies, and fixtures to support production operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality and efficient manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Operate standard tool room equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines.
- Perform precision machining, fitting, and assembly of components.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Ensure all tools and dies meet quality and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to improve tooling design and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
- 3+ years of tool and die making or related machining experience.
- Strong knowledge of shop math, precision measuring tools, and machining principles.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
