Public Works Employee

The City of North Sioux City, South Dakota is accepting applications for a full-time Public Works Employee. This position plays a vital role in the maintenance and operation of the city's streets, water, and sewer infrastructure. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and repair streets, water systems, and sewer infrastructure.
• Operate a variety of equipment and machinery.
• Perform routine inspections and address public works needs.
• Be available for on-call duties, including rotating weekends and snow events.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be willing to be on call during weekends and snow events.
• Able to obtain a commercial driver's license.
• Must pass a background check.
• Lift a minimum of 50lbs.
